Your role will be pivotal in supporting the Event Manager. With your keen attention to detail and proactive approach, you will help to streamline processes and optimize efficiency at every turn.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning:
    • Collaborate with the team to understand the event objectives, preferences, and requirements.
    • Develop and maintain detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure necessary services and products.
  • Logistics Management:
    • Coordinate and oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, decor and catering.
    • Ensure all vendors have legal permits.
  • Budget Management:
    • Track expenses, provide regular financial updates, and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Communication:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for vendors and internal teams throughout the event planning process.
    • Communicate event details, expectations, and timelines effectively to all stakeholders.
    • Point of contact for guests during live events. 
  • On-site Coordination:
    • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
    • Address any issues or emergencies that may arise during events, making quick and effective decisions.
  • Creative Input:
    • Contribute creative ideas for event themes, decorations, and entertainment to enhance overall guest experience.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and design, to align events with overall company goals.

  • Successful Event Execution:
    • Events are executed flawlessly, meeting or exceeding client and stakeholder expectations.
    • Attendees experience a smooth, well-organized, and enjoyable event.
  • Positive Satisfaction:
    • Executives are satisfied with the coordination and execution of workshop events, leading to positive feedback.
  • Effective Budget Management:
    • Events are executed within budget, demonstrating financial responsibility and maximizing return on investment.
  • Timely and Clear Communication:
    • Stakeholders are well-informed throughout the event planning process, contributing to a collaborative and transparent working environment.
  • Mitigation of Issues:
    • Any issues or emergencies that arise during events are addressed promptly and effectively with appropriate departments and minimizing disruptions.
  • Post-Event Evaluation and Improvement:
    • Post-event evaluations provide valuable insights for continuous improvement in future events, contributing to a culture of learning and refinement.
  • Enhanced Team Collaboration:
    • Effective collaboration with cross-functional team leads to events that align seamlessly with overall company goals and marketing strategies.
  • Increased Brand Visibility:
    • Successful events contribute to positive word-of-mouth, increased brand visibility, and potential new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Degree or experience in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in event management software and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Hybrid work environment
  • Ability to work on weekends and longer hours when necessary.

SALARY:

  • $55,000 - $60,000

LOCATION:

  • In-person, open to relocate to Las Vegas, NV
