ROLE:

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Podcast Manager to join our growing creative team. This role is responsible for producing and distributing Alex Hormozi’s ‘The Game’ and ‘Build with Leila Hormozi’. This includes the concepting, editing, distribution, and promotional content to drive awareness to each episode.

This role reports to the Creative Director. You will work alongside the Mozi Media team.

Balancing strategy and creativity are what you do best. You understand pacing, structure, and music needs to produce a top tier podcast while also having a deep understanding of how to best distribute the shows and the tactics it takes to grow continually, month after month. You’ve done this before at a high level and are able to show the trackable progress you made on previous shows you produced.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Concepting prompts for podcast episodes (4 podcast prompts per week)
• Releasing 7 episodes per week (4 for Alex, 3 for Leila)
• Editing podcast episodes that go out
• Editing 2 podcast promotional clips per week (1 Alex, 1 Leila)
• Create and manage podcast calendar for both Alex and Leila 
• Distribute to all relevant platforms
• Push video podcast to all platforms possible
• Inform team of new platform features / trends
• Monthly reporting on podcast performance

RESULTS:

• ‘The Game’ & ‘Build with Leila Hormozi’ will be taking advantage of the best practices for each platform (ex: utilizing video on Spotify, etc)
• Podcasts will be structured to feel audio native, even when using audio from a YouTube video as a form of repurposing content
• ‘The Game’ hits top 5 in business
• The Game hits 3M monthly downloads by 2025 (currently 1M+/mo)
• ‘Build with Leila Hormozi’ reaches 250k downloads per month by 2025

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have managed a top 100 podcast for more than 1 year
• Deep understanding of the podcast landscape, strategy, storytelling, and editing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven success in original podcast strategy and execution
• Speed and clarity in communication (primarily in Slack)
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change
• 2+ years of relevant experience in podcast development

LOCATION:

• In, or open to relocating to, Las Vegas

SALARY:

• $85,000 - $100,000
